A Whisker Away (2020)
The story of this tender film by Junichi Sato and Tomotaka Shibayama follows a young high school student, Miyo “Muge” Sasaki, who has fallen in love with her classmate Kento Hinode, who doesn’t seem to notice her presence. However, while she hides a secret that she can’t tell anyone, Muge discovers a mask that transforms her into a cat named Tarō. This allows her to get closer to Kento, Will it be worth it?
Modest Heroes (2018)
This film is made up of three stories, directed by three different filmmakers: ‘Kanini & Kanino’ by Hiromasa Yonebayashi, ‘Life Ain’t Gonna Lose’ by Yoshiyuki Momose, and ‘Unseen’ by Akihiko Yamashita. Their joint starting point: the history of several modest heroes of our time.
