“Avatar: The Last Airbender” – what will the series be about?
Water. Earth. Fire. Air. Long ago, four nations lived together in harmony. The Avatar, the lord of the elements, kept peace between them. But everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked and wiped out the Air Nomads. This was the fire magicians’ first step towards world conquest. The new incarnation of the Avatar has not yet appeared, and the world has lost hope. But then hope appears like a light in the darkness when Aang (Gordon Cormier), the young – and last – Air Nomad, awakens to take his rightful place as the next Avatar.
With his new friends Sokka and Katara, siblings and members of the Southern Water Tribe, Aang embarks on a fantastic, adventurous mission to save the world and fend off the attack of the terrible Fire Lord Ozai. However, when the implacable Crown Prince Zuko decides to capture them, it turns out that their task will not be easy at all. The Avatar and his group will need the help of many allies and colorful characters they will meet.
The showrunner, executive producer, and screenwriter Albert Kim, Jabbar Raisani, and Michael Goi serve as executive producers and directors alongside Roseanne Liang, Jet Wilkinson, Dan Lin, and Lindsey Liberatore serve as executive producers.
