Synopsis
Sam Bahadur the movie reveals the story of the elite personality of the Indian Army. Manekshaw was born in a Parsis family his parent’s name is Maneskhaw and Homi and he is among the five children. Sam joined cadets at Pioneer Academy in Indian Military Academy in 1933 in Mussorie. He was then selected as a lieutenant in the Indian Military Academy and transferred to Lahore where he met Sullu his soulmate. In his tenure, he encountered in 1942 an encountered mission in India with Pagoda Hills where he fought with a bunch of troops in Japan and was shot wounded with six gunshots in the body but survived and given a Gallanttry award for bravery .
In 1947 when the Partition happened between India and Pakistan he was offered to join the Pakistan army but he refused to join. Srinagar had been attacked by Pakistan to capture it Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru sent Sam Manekshaw to control the situation to Srinagar along with V.P Menon where he was successful in making an outway of Pakistan from Poonch to Kargil. During the Manekshaw transfer to Assam, the confidence of the Assam (Gorkha regiment) as they lost due to defeat by China
Manekshaw drew a sense of fire in the blood to capture and move China out of Burma Psot. Sam’s Masterstroke came when Pakistan fought with India as Mohd Zeeshan Ayub wanted to bring India down with the calamity of war Sam understood that the war would be answered with the acquirement of East Pakistan for Bangladesh and make the home nation for them. The last Sam Maneskhaw was the first field marshal of the Indian Army he died in 2018 but his stories and name live with the nation
